A terrific team display earned Village FC a place in the 2006 Manchester Accountants League Cup final for the first time in our 10 year history after defeating PWC in a comprehensive 6-1 semi final win on Sunday.

Only one league place separated the two teams before the game but this counted for nothing and it was Village FC who looked sharp from the whistle, neutralising the PWC attack with a no-nonsense performance from the defence and an outstanding performance from the midfield and forward players.

The Final will be held at our home ground, University Pitches in Wythenshaw against Deloitte & Touche FC on Sunday 19 February KO 11am.

So come on!!!!... supporters, partners and Stu's dog Stan (our official mascot) get yourself down to the Final and support the lads in their quest to bring the first ever trophy to the club in our 10th anniversary year!
