Over the bank holiday weekend, Village Manchester FC will be joining in with the annual Pride celebrations in and around Canal Street. Come and see us at a variety of places...

On Thursday night following our weekly training session, a few of the boys will head down to Taurus for the annual "It's a Gay Knockout" competition. Featuring some of the other gay sports teams from the city, the contest has previously featured events including the "Drag Race", "Handbag Tossing" and "Sausage Relay", so it's obviously one to be taken very seriously!

 

From Saturday, and for the rest of the bank holiday weekend, we'll be set up with a stall at the Lifestyle Expo behind Canal Street. Come and have a chat with us, and if you're interested in joining us make sure you leave your contact details!

 

Topping this all off is the big Parade that will be disrupting most of Manchester city centre from 1pm on Saturday afternoon. The VMFC boys will be taking part and having a very leisurely stroll (with one or two hangovers given past experience) between the floats so give us a cheer and a wave as we go past you.

 

It goes without saying that our boys will be enjoying the nightlife over the whole weekend so make sure you enjoy your Pride experience as much as we will!
